Makers & purveyors of a world famous range of glass marbles, board games, classic toys, puzzles, pastimes & decorative accessories for the home and garden. House of Marbles began in 1973 when the founder started making board games in his workshops to sell at local craft fairs. Located in Bovey Tracey, just 20 minutes drive from Lower Venton Farm, House of Marbles has evolved to encompass an array of attractions including a glassworks studio; restaurant; games garden; gift shop and various museums.
You can watch highly skilled craftsmen at work from the viewing gallery, and can usually purchase the same item from the studio shop.
The Old Pottery is a fully-licenced daytime restaurant, serving freshly prepared food, with produce sourced locally and seasonally wherever possible.
